Today: 🇲🇪 Montesong 2025 Song Submissions Close

Today is the last day for songs to be submitted to compete in Montesong 2025, the Montenegrin Eurovision selection show.

It’s the last day for songs to be submitted to represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria. Applications for Montesong 2025 can be sent via mail or relevant materials can be handed over to RTCG archives. It is expected that all submitted entries are of the song’s final version. The lyrics, artists’ biography and information on songwriters must also be sent over.

Other necessary points for submission are listed below:

  • All songs must be original and must not have been publicly revealed before September 1st 2025.
  • All entries must be within the 3 minute timeframe.
  • Artists must have Montenegrin citizenship.
  • Relevant and complete documentation must be delivered physically to RTCG, in accordance with specified technical and procedural conditions of the competition.

The winner of Montesong 2025 will be determined by an expert jury and SMS voting. A selection committee formed of music creators and performers will select the competing entries. The committee will assess the songs within 10 days of the end of the song submission period. The committee will assess the songs on:

  • Composition – up to 50 points
  • Lyrics – up to 30 points
  • Production potential – up to 20 points

Up to 16 songs will be chosen to compete in Montesong 2025, with a song needing to score a minimum of 75 points from the committee to receive a place in the contest.
