Rumors circulating over the past few weeks about Celine Dion’s appearance at Eurovision 2025 have been categorically denied. In an official statement, the singer’s representative clarified:
“Celine was not in Basel, nor did she ever plan to attend, sing, or present at the event. Furthermore, contrary to certain claims, she does not own a private jet.”
The statement emphasized that the recent reports are “completely false and potentially damaging,” as they imply that the singer had accepted the organizers’ invitation but was absent due to health issues.
“This is completely untrue. The only accurate information is that Celine agreed to record a short greeting video, which she was happy to provide,” the representative added.
Dion’s team concluded with a call to the media:
