Article 25 — Interpretation and General Provisions

1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 25.1 In this Constitution, unless the context otherwise requires:
• “Community” means Eurovision Community;
• “Executive” means the five-member governing body described in Article 8;
• “Member” means a person who is registered as a member of the Community in accordance with Article 6;
• “Community Manager” means a person appointed in accordance with Article 11;
• “Regional Manager” means a person appointed in accordance with Article 11.5;
• “General Meeting” means either an Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting;
• “In good standing” means a member who has not been suspended or excluded from the Community;
• “Writing” and “written” include electronic communications including email.

2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 25.2 Words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa. Words importing any gender include all genders.

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 25.3 Headings are for ease of reference only and do not affect the interpretation of this Constitution.

4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 25.4 This Constitution is written in British English. In the event of any dispute about the meaning of any word or phrase, the British English meaning shall prevail. No translated version of this Constitution shall have any legal force or effect.

5 Leave a comment on paragraph 5 0 25.5 Where any provision of this Constitution is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
