7.1A Eligibility for AGM Votes
To vote at an Annual General Meeting or in any resolution or election conducted as part of,
or in place of, an Annual General Meeting, a member must have been a member in
continuous good standing for the full financial year (1 April to 31 March) to which that AGM
relates. Members who joined or who were suspended at any point during the relevant
financial year are not eligible to vote at that AGM, but shall retain their right to vote at future
AGMs once they satisfy the full-year requirement.

7.1B Eligibility for SGM Votes
To vote at a Special General Meeting, or in any resolution or election conducted in
connection with an SGM, a member must have been a member in continuous good standing
for at least 90 days immediately preceding the date on which the vote opens. Members who
are suspended shall not be eligible to vote.

7.1C Eligibility for Other Votes
For elections, referendums, and votes that are not connected to an AGM or SGM (including
elections to the Executive between AGMs), all members in good standing at the date the
vote opens are eligible to vote. There is no minimum membership duration requirement for
such votes unless specified elsewhere in this Constitution.

7.2 Voting may be conducted by electronic means, by postal ballot, or by any other method
determined by the Executive to be fair, accessible, and verifiable. The method of voting shall
be communicated to members at least 14 days before any vote.

7.3 Unless otherwise specified in this Constitution, resolutions shall be passed by a simple
majority of valid votes cast. Quorum requirements are set out in Article 12.

7.4 The Executive shall take reasonable steps to ensure that voting processes are
accessible to members across all time zones and language groups, and shall provide a
reasonable voting window of not less than 7 days for all elections and non-urgent
resolutions.
