Tonight, Malta’s search for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 commences with the first show of The Voice Kids Malta.
Malta’s Junior Eurovision selection commences this evening with the first show of The Voice Kids Malta. The series will start with the Blind Auditions which will see the singers aged 9 to 14 perform for the coaches. The coaches will push their button to turn their chair when they like a performance. If more than one coach turns, then the singer will select the team they will join. If only one turns, they will automatically join that team.
The coaches for the competition are:
- Destiny – Junior Eurovision 2015 Winner and Eurovision 2020 & 2021 participant
- Gianluca Bezzina – Eurovision 2013 participant
- Sarah Bonnici – Eurovision 2024 participant
Once the Blind Auditions are complete, the Battles will commence, with singers from the same team competing for the coach to pick the winner and stay in the competition. A singer can be stolen by one of the coaches if they lose a battle; each coach has only one steal.
In the Sing Offs, the remaining singers will perform on stage as soloists, the coaches will then select two singers from each team to go through to the live final. In the Final, the winner will be chosen and will compete at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
